Student leadership

At Heartlands Academy we believe that students should be given a wide range of opportunities to develop and practise leadership skills, in preparation for life beyond school.

Students are given an array of opportunities to contribute towards the development of their academy, the academy has an ethos of “you said, we did”. We constantly work with students to encourage the confidence to contribute and actively encourage discussions around new ideas to improve student and staff academy life. Students are encouraged to be leaders and embrace the academy’s standards and aspirations.
